Dave Hood and Susy Dorn have created “The Crazy Adventures of Harry & Susy - Spanish is Fun!” Some are saying this DVD may become the standard for teaching children Spanish. Combining Susy’s songs and Hood’s unique brand of humor this adventure mixes live characters and animation to create a fun learning experience kids will watch again and again. Chris Dorn, Susy’s husband, is the genius behind the state of the art animation. His mission was to bring to life the many characters who Harry and Susy encounter along their journey. More than a year in the making, the colorful backgrounds and singing, talking little creatures were given life by Dorn’s artistry on the computer. The live action scenes with Dave and Susy were shot in August of 2009 using green screen. The filming took place in a studio in Lima Peru, Susy’s home town. |
